Paddington Peru is by far the weakest of the trilogy, as the absence of Paul King and Simon Farnaby is definitely felt, but this is still a delightful third installment that doesn’t lose heart and brings everything started in the first act to a neat conclusion. , thank you.

It’s a consistently fun adventure that never forgets the prominent immigrant story that is central to Paddington’s struggle to balance his past and future. . Hugh Bonneville is really funny trying to be braver, and Emily Mortimer is a worthy replacement, even if Sally Hawkins is missed.
There’s plenty of murder here, as usual, and they always escalate in unexpected ways
Antonio Banderas gets to do whatever Dial of Fate prevented him from doing while having a blast doing it, and Olivia Colman as a suspicious singing nun is another big highlight. Dougal Wilson’s direction adds just enough weirdness to it, borrowing ideas from its predecessors and some new, inventive ones, as well as some well-placed references to other films. The CGI is pushed harder than ever before, which makes it all the more impressive, as the effects that bring Paddington to life rarely falter despite the huge amount of CG bears this time around.
